We had our first dining experience on Christmas Day at Battarga and we were very happy with our decision.
The service was great, polite and timely.
The food was really good, but there is a small room for improvement on the pork dish.
The atmosphere was that of a up market establishment and set up well for Christmas Day.
Lastly a big thank you to the chefs and front of house.
2nd day into 2024, we had both lunch and dinner there. Pasta and pizza were both amazing (thumbs up to seafood risotto and braised beef Capellacci) Was also really impressed with house made focaccia which was served with confit garlic (you get garlic cloves so soft that you can easily spread on bread). Great service, only rated 4 star for food because the crème brûlée was slightly cold and a little too sweet for my liking but flavour was great and I would still recommend to anyone. Thank you for feeding us twice on stormy day like today. We will be heading back to Brisbane tmr and definitely return next time when we are in town.
We were met warmly and every step from there professionally and casually executed.
Starting with some great cocktails and shortly after some delicious starters.
The best was yet to come with the main course selections of Goldband snapper,Beef cheeks,Lamb, mushroom pizza and Duck pasta.
The icing on the preverbial cake was the vanilla bean creme brulee I had and the take away cannoli for later... All in all Bottarga was a great experience and we would like to thank Scott and his team for a lovely lunch and service. We'll be back 😀
This restaurant surpassed our expectations. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Every dish that we ordered was fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. Oysters were spot on, steak cooked excellently. Great wines as well. Would not hesitate to recommend Bottarga.
What amazing food and the service is great. A fantastic vibe, not too posh. The only thing was the noise. The place was pretty full and as expected everyone enjoying themselves. However perhaps some furnishing to soften the aucoustics might mean we didn't have to speak really loudly to be hear at our table. Chris did a great job at looking after us.

Relaxed and very beautiful atmosphere, we were very well attended by qualified professionals. I have try the duck ragu pasta which was amazing and my wife a risotto which was delicious.
Variety of wines is extensive and great quality.
I really recommend and will be back again.
Amazing food, smiling staff and a very wide variety of drinks. Pizza, pasta and beef were all cooked to perfection and had great flavour. A overall lovely experience
The best EVER prawn entree. It is quite popular to slice and grill … here they are “plump, appear as of a fresh prawn.. the smoked flavour is unbelievable… please please book and enjoy this wonderful dining experience! Prompt and friendly set. Helpful with wines and food pairing. Umami and ambience collide in a stratospheric dining experience.
